The Horses Found Me First...
I grew up in a very traumatic environment, and the one and only consistent source of comfort and presence in my life was my horse. That relationship and connection helped me cope with all that was falling apart around me. Because of this, I feel I have a lot to offer in the way of helping people heal from their own trauma and emotional scars.
A Healing Environment Is Everything
Here at the Dixi Rose Ranch, we do not just offer a horse experience. This is a peaceful 1-acre property with 300 feet of waterfront connected to Tamales Bay. offering lots of seating for privacy, solitude, or connecting with others.
Our horses are all very well trained, safe, friendly, and exercised regularly.
Being on this property is a healing experience in itself because we are out in nature near the sea, which literally is in the backyard- a runoff off from Tamales Bay. Also across the street from 86,000 acres of Point Reyes National Forest.
This means walking off property and taking a stroll with the horses, another great feature that we are so lucky to have close by.
